Project Management Software
If nobody looks at the project plan after the first week, the problem isn't the planning tool — it's that the plan is cut off from where the work gets done. When tasks, messages, documents and approvals live in the same place, the plan stays current on its own.
What is project management software?
Project management software breaks the scope of a job into tasks, ties those tasks to people and dates, and tracks progress and risks. Gantt shows time, Kanban shows flow and a sprint shows the period; all three are different views of the same task data. Set up well, the question "where is this job at?" is answered on screen, not in a meeting.
How does it work?
Project and scope
A project is opened and split into main headings and tasks with a work breakdown structure (WBS). Upcoming milestones appear on the PMO dashboard.
Assignment and schedule
Tasks are assigned to people, and durations and dependencies are entered. On the Gantt chart you can see which task is holding up what.
Execution
The team works on a Kanban board or a sprint list. Messages, files and approvals stay inside the task instead of being scattered across channels.
Monitoring and risk
Progress, delays and risks are tracked. In the portfolio view, several projects are compared side by side.
What's inside?
Gantt and dependencies
Timeline, task dependencies and a critical path view. When a date slips, you see what's affected on the same screen.
Kanban and sprints
Kanban for flow management, sprints for teams that work in iterations. The same tasks, shown differently depending on how the team works.
Work breakdown structure (WBS)
Scope is broken down hierarchically; a big job is split into smaller jobs, each with a clear owner.
Programs and portfolios
Track several projects under one roof. Which project is short on resources, which one is running late — all in the top-level view.
Risk and milestone tracking
Risks are logged and given owners; the PMO dashboard shows the number of programs and active projects, task completion, dependency health and upcoming milestones together.
Communication in the same place
Messaging, video calls, documents and approval flows are part of the platform. Project conversations don't end up in a separate app.
Who is it for?
Project-based companies
Engineering, installation and consulting firms where every job has its own budget, team and delivery date.
Software and product teams
Teams that track sprints, backlogs and releases.
Organizations running many projects at once
Setups where resources are shared across projects and a portfolio view is needed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Gantt and Kanban together?
Yes. They aren't separate tools but different views of the same tasks: the manager looks at the Gantt chart, the team works on Kanban, and the data is the same.
What's the difference between project management software and task management software?
Task management tracks individual jobs; project management adds a layer of scope, schedule, dependencies, resources and risk on top. For a small team, task tracking is enough; for work with deadlines and budgets, you need project management.
Can I invite a customer from outside the team to a project?
Yes, by setting up a user with limited permissions; the customer only sees the tasks and documents they need to see.
Is time tracked (timesheets)?
Time spent on tasks is recorded and reported. If it needs to be linked to payroll or customer billing, we discuss the scope during setup.
Where is our data?
In Türkiye, in ELPO's own data center, or on your own server if you prefer. There's no dependency on a foreign cloud.
Can I import my existing projects?
Tasks from an .xlsx, .xls, .csv or .json file are loaded into the selected project; the rows are reviewed on screen before they're imported. Tell us which tool you use today and we'll tell you exactly what the import covers.
What do the AI agents do in a project?
For a sprint, they suggest which tasks to pick based on a capacity of 40 story points, listing the reasoning, the total points and the risks. Following up on late work, however, is rule-based: a step-by-step escalation is calculated backwards from the deadline, and the top manager is notified at least 8 hours in advance.
Is the project module sold separately?
No. Cortex is one platform: projects, CRM, service desk, HR and workflows are all in the same license.
How much does the project management software cost?
Pricing depends on the number of users and how it's deployed. The project module isn't sold separately; it comes in the same license as CRM, support and HR.
