Charging Management Software

Manage your EV charging stations from a single panel: live monitoring and remote control, tariffs and campaigns, wallet and payments, revenue sharing, EPDK and GİB reporting, and a driver mobile app. The software runs white-label — your brand appears in the field, ELPO does not.

What is charging management software?

Charging management software is cloud software that remotely monitors EV charging stations, authorises users, applies tariffs and handles billing. The industry calls it CSMS (Charging Station Management System) or CPMS (Charge Point Management System); both describe the same layer. Stations talk to the software over the OCPP protocol, so chargers from different brands can be managed from one panel.

How does charging management software work?

1

The station connects

The charger connects to the software over OCPP 1.6 or 2.0. The brand of the device does not matter; every unit that supports OCPP appears in the panel.

2

The user is authorised

The driver is identified by mobile app, QR code or RFID card and is allowed to start charging based on their contract, balance and group.

3

The session is monitored and managed

The charging session is tracked live; if needed it is stopped remotely, the device is reset or its firmware is updated. Faults and outages trigger alerts.

4

Pricing and reporting

The tariff is applied, payment is taken from the wallet or a POS, and the transaction becomes an e-invoice; EPDK and GİB reports are sent automatically.

What is in the software?

Live monitoring and remote control

Status, occupancy, fault and outage tracking per connector; remote start and stop of charging, device reset and firmware updates.

Tariff and campaign engine

Per kWh, per minute or flat fee; different tariffs by station, time of day, user group and day. Campaigns and discounts are defined on the same screen.

Payments, wallet and revenue sharing

Mobile wallet, credit card and physical POS. On sites with several partners, revenue sharing and settlement are calculated automatically.

Dynamic load management

The live consumption of the building or site is read and charging power is shared accordingly. More vehicles charge without exceeding the contracted capacity.

EPDK and GİB compliance

Charging units (EŞÜ) and charging transactions are reported to GİB automatically, and every transaction becomes an e-invoice. The financial seal is kept on ELPO's own HSM hardware.

OCPI roaming

Users of other networks can charge at your stations and your users can charge on other networks; settlement data is collected in the software.

White-label mobile app

The driver app is published on the App Store and Google Play under your name, logo and colours. The operator panel runs on your own domain.

Reporting

Consumption, revenue and occupancy reports by station, connector, user, apartment or company; export and transfer to accounting.

Who uses it?

Public charging network operators

Multi-station network management, roaming, tariffs and settlement for charging network operators licensed by EPDK.

Residential complexes, apartment buildings and office towers

In a closed user group, consumption split per apartment or employee, load sharing and collection.

Fleet owners

Tracking where, when and how much company vehicles charge, per vehicle and per driver.

Shopping malls, hotels and fuel stations

Charging service in the customer car park; reporting under the same roof as fuel station automation.

Frequently asked questions

What does EV charging station software do?

It connects chargers to a single panel over OCPP 1.6 or 2.0, identifies the driver by mobile app, QR code or RFID card, monitors the charging session live and stops it remotely when needed. It manages tariffs and payments, reports charging transactions to GİB and turns each transaction into an e-invoice. The industry also calls it charging management software, CSMS or CPMS.

Is charging management software the same as a CSMS?

Yes. CSMS (Charging Station Management System) and CPMS (Charge Point Management System) are the industry's English names for charging management software. CPMS stresses the device side and CSMS the station and business side; in practice they describe the same software layer.

Can I manage chargers from different brands with one software?

Yes, if the devices support OCPP 1.6 or 2.0. OCPP is the common language between the charger and the management software, so asking for OCPP support in the contract when you buy a device protects your freedom to change software later.

What does white-label mean, and does the ELPO name appear in the field?

White-label means the software goes out under your brand: the app the driver downloads is published under your name and the panel runs on your own domain. The ELPO name does not appear in the field. ELPO is not a charging network operator; it supplies software to operators.

Are EPDK and GİB reports ready in the software?

Yes. Charging units and charging transactions are reported to GİB automatically, and every transaction becomes an e-invoice. The e-invoice side runs on ELPO's own GİB-approved private integrator infrastructure, so you do not need a second outside company.

Do I need an EPDK licence to use it in a residential complex or apartment building?

If you only serve residents, employees or your own fleet, that is a closed user group. If you open the charging service to everyone and charge a fee for it, you need a charging network operator licence from EPDK.

Can I buy the source code?

Yes. Besides the white-label subscription we also grant source code licences; operators that want to develop the software with their own team choose this model.

What is the difference between CSMS and CPMS?

Both abbreviations describe the software that manages charge points; CSMS (Charging Station Management System) is the name used by the OCPP standard, while CPMS (Charge Point Management System) is a synonym often used in the industry for the same product. In practice the difference lies in the scope of the software: monitoring only, or tariffs, collection and settlement as well.

Does a residential complex or apartment building need charging management software?

Even in a closed user group it does: splitting consumption per apartment or employee, sharing the load and collecting payment are done with software. Otherwise the electricity bill ends up in shared costs and who charged how much becomes a point of dispute.

How is revenue shared on sites with several partners?

Mobile wallet, credit card and physical POS payments are gathered in one flow; on sites with several partners, revenue sharing and settlement are calculated automatically. Reconciliation between the site owner, the operator and the network is not done by hand in a spreadsheet.

Do chargers from other brands connect to this software?

They do. The software speaks OCPP 1.6 and 2.0; OCPP-compliant devices from different manufacturers can be managed on the same network. This frees the operator from depending on a single hardware manufacturer.

Can I launch a charging app under my own brand?

Yes, the software is offered white-label: the operator's brand appears in the mobile app and the management interface. Companies that want to run a charging network under their own name use this model.

How much does charging management software cost?

CSMS pricing depends on the number of connectors managed and the modules required; roaming, the white-label app and multi-partner revenue sharing are separate items.

What sets the price?

  • Number of stations and connectors to manage
  • Whether a white-label driver app is needed
  • Whether there will be a roaming (OCPI) connection
  • Revenue sharing and settlement on multi-partner sites
  • Scope of the GİB e-invoice flow and EPDK reporting
