Best e-Invoice Software in Turkey: Choosing an Integrator

GİB's official list has 93 firms, incl. Logo, Uyumsoft, Mikro, EDM, Veriban, Nilvera, Paraşüt and ELPO. Same authority — so where is the difference?

First, let's be clear: the authority is the same for all of them

The official private integrator list of GİB (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı, the Turkish Revenue Administration) has 93 firms today. In Turkey, a private integrator (özel entegratör) is a company authorised by GİB to handle e-documents on behalf of taxpayers. Every firm on the list has the same legal authority: it creates e-documents on behalf of the taxpayer, signs them, transmits them to GİB and stores them. So there is no question of "which one is authorised" — they all are. ELPO Bilişim is on the same list too, with the permit it received in 2015.

The difference is not in the authority but in how they use that authority. The headings below are the points where firms on the same list really differ.

Who is on the list?

The full list is published by GİB; some of the names you come across often: İDEA Teknoloji, Mebitech, Veriban, Uyumsoft, Logo Yazılım, Bizofis, İzibiz, Sabancı Dijital, TürkKep, İnnova, Türk Telekom, Mikro Yazılımevi, QNB eSolutions, İşnet, EDM Bilişim, Sovos, Nilvera, Paraşüt, Mysoft, SNI, Kolaysoft and ELPO Bilişim Otomasyon Elektronik. This is not a ranking; it is part of the firms on the list, and the current version is always on GİB's own page.

Most comparison articles are published by these firms themselves — naturally they end with their own product. So test the criteria below against your own document volume and your own ERP.

Seven headings that really make the difference

1. How many document types in a single contract?

Some integrators start with e-Fatura (e-Invoice) and e-Arşiv (e-Archive invoice); when the e-İrsaliye (e-Waybill) obligation arrives, a second contract is needed. ELPO e-Belge offers five document types (e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, e-İrsaliye, e-SMM, e-MM) in one account. The question to ask: "Does the price change when I add a document type I don't use today?"

2. Are regulatory updates charged?

GİB packages change during the year — like the UBL-TR (the Turkish e-invoice XML standard) update of 27.07.2026 and the two corrections that followed (details). In some contracts these updates are covered by the subscription, in others they are invoiced as a "version upgrade". Ask for it in writing.

3. Is the ERP connection ready, or is it a project?

Is there a ready connection to the ERP you use (Logo, Mikro, Netsis, Nebim, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or your own software), or is development needed? If there is no ready connection, do not sign without seeing the REST API documentation. On the ELPO side the connection is ERP-independent; if you use SmartERP, e-Belge is already a built-in module.

4. Where the data is kept

With integrators that use cloud infrastructure abroad, audits and KVKK (Turkey's personal data protection law) can create extra work. At ELPO, invoice data is hosted within Turkey's borders.

5. Your data if the contract ends

The contract should state in what format, how quickly and at what cost you will get your documents when you leave. This clause is often skipped, and it is exactly what makes moving expensive.

6. Who sits in support?

"How do I cancel this invoice?" or "how does the return scenario work?" are questions for a financial advisor, not a software developer. Test with a question before the contract whether the support team has someone who knows the regulations.

7. What is the price based on?

Credits (kontör), a fixed monthly fee, tiers by document type — the models differ. Give your own annual document volume and have the total amount calculated; comparing unit prices is misleading.

Is switching difficult?

Usually not. What lengthens the process is usually not the software but obtaining the financial seal (mali mühür) and cleaning up customer/supplier and product data. Don't forget to take your archive when you leave your current integrator.

Where ELPO stands

ELPO Bilişim received its private integrator permit in 2015; the company itself was founded in 2011, and the team's background in fuel station automation goes back to 1997. Together, these let us see e-documents not as an abstract service but as part of the workflow in the field: an invoice arising from station automation, an EV charging network or an ERP goes to GİB from the same panel. For details you can look at the ELPO e-Belge page and verify our name on the GİB list.

Which is the best e-invoice software?

There is no single right answer, and every list that says "the best" is somewhere describing its own product. The only binding ranking is GİB's permit list, and the 93 firms on that list have exactly the same authority. The difference shows up in the seven headings above: how it talks to your ERP, how credits are counted, whom you reach when something breaks, where the data is stored. Build your own list with these headings; that is what is best for you.

Which is the most used e-invoice software?

GİB does not publish document volume or customer numbers per firm; so nobody can verify a "most used" claim, including us. The only thing that can be verified is the list itself. If a firm gives you a volume figure, ask for its source — if there is no independent source, that figure is a marketing line.

Which is the easiest e-invoice software?

Ease depends on where you start. If you already use an ERP or a pre-accounting program, the easiest is the one that integrates with it; the invoice is issued on your own screen and you don't enter data anywhere else. If you use no software at all, a portal that opens in the browser gets you started faster. Choosing the wrong side ends with typing every invoice twice in the program bought as "easy".

Which is the best e-Archive invoice software?

e-Arşiv is not a separate program: it is another document type issued through the same integrator. An invoice issued to a buyer who is not a taxpayer goes to e-Arşiv, one issued to a taxpayer goes to e-Fatura; both are deducted from the same credit pool. So the question should not be "which e-Archive program" but "does my integrator also provide e-Arşiv in the same flow".

What to watch for when reading reviews?

User reviews pile up on Şikayetvar, Ekşi Sözlük and the app stores, and most of them describe one thing: what happens when a problem occurs. When reading reviews, look not for praise of the price but for this — whom could people reach during a disruption on the GİB side, what happened when credits ran out, how did the data handover go when changing integrator. Positive reviews describe the product, complaints describe the support.
