Fuel dispenser automation is a system that connects the dispensers, the fiscal cash register and the interface units on a forecourt to a computer and manages them with dedicated software. Every fuelling is logged automatically with litres, amount, nozzle, plate and shift. This removes manual entry, sales errors and losses, so the station is monitored in real time and can be audited.
How does fuel dispenser automation work?
Dispenser and ÖKC connection
Dispensers, the fiscal cash register (ÖKC) and interface units are connected to the automation computer. It works with dispensers of different brands and models.
Real-time sale logging
When the nozzle is lifted and fuel is dispensed, the sale drops into the system in real time with litres, amount, product, nozzle and attendant.
Price and shift management
Unit prices are pushed to all dispensers from a single point; shift open/close and attendant assignment are handled in the software.
Reporting and EPDK notification
Sales are gathered in a central dashboard; notifications under EPDK 1240 are prepared and submitted automatically.
