Tanker Automation

How much fuel the tanker took from the station tank, how much it sold to whom on the road, and whether the two match are visible in the same system. Tankers are kept in the same software as the station, linked to the dealer.

What is tanker automation?

Tanker automation is software that keeps the tankers of a fuel dealer and a distribution company in the same system as the station. Every loading from a station tank into a tanker is deducted from stock, and every sale the tanker makes is recorded with date, plate, fuel, litres and amount. Because loaded and sold quantities are kept side by side day by day, the difference between them becomes visible.

How does tanker automation work?

1

Tanker card

Each tanker is linked to a dealer: plate, fuel type carried, capacity, loading limit and active/passive status are kept centrally.

2

ETOS device pairing

An ETOS device is paired with the tanker plate: device ID, location (GPS) sending interval and activation date. When the device is fitted to another tanker, it is unlinked from the old plate; one device never appears on two tankers at the same time.

3

Loading from station to tanker

Which day, which fuel, from which station tank, into which tanker and how much was transferred is recorded and deducted from station stock.

4

Sales and comparison

The tanker's sales are recorded; for each tanker the quantities loaded and sold are kept side by side day by day, and any difference becomes visible.

Key capabilities

Loading vs. sales comparison

For each tanker, the quantity loaded at the station and the quantity sold are kept side by side day by day; any difference appears on the same screen.

Tanker Sales Report

Filtered by date range and plate; printed with dealer, fuel, plate, litres, unit price, amount and card sale type columns, plus total litres and total amount.

ETOS device on the tanker plate

Device ID, GPS sending interval and activation date are linked to the plate. When the device is moved, it is unlinked from the old plate; the same device never appears on two tankers.

Consistent with station stock

Every litre going to a tanker is recorded as a movement of the station tank; the station's stock ledger stays consistent with tanker loadings.

Village pumps and tankers in one list

The dealer's village fuel pumps (rural pumps run by the dealer) and fuel tankers are listed with the dealer's licence number and EPDK code (EPDK is Turkey's energy market regulator); the station pulls this list from headquarters, and for tankers the plate, capacity and loading limit are in this list too.

ETOS faults reported separately

When the station reports a fault to headquarters, ETOS fault is selected as a separate type; the report goes to the right team.

Who is it for?

Fuel distribution companies

Define and monitor their dealers' tankers and ETOS devices from the headquarters screen.

Dealers and stations

Load their tankers from the station tank and get the tanker sales report.

Dealers operating village pumps

Manage village pumps and tankers on the same definition screen as the station.

Frequently asked questions

What is tanker automation for?

It shows how much fuel was loaded into the tanker at the station, how much the tanker sold and the difference between the two in the same record. Loading is deducted from station stock; sales are recorded with date, plate, fuel, litres and amount.

What is ETOS?

It is ELPO's module on the tanker side. An ETOS device is paired with each tanker plate; the device ID, location (GPS) sending interval and activation date are kept linked to that plate.

What happens if an ETOS device is fitted to another tanker?

When the device is linked to the new plate, it is automatically unlinked from the old plate. The same device never appears on two tankers at the same time, and records do not get mixed up.

Do tanker loadings affect station stock?

Yes. Every litre going to a tanker is recorded as a movement of the station tank; the station's stock ledger stays consistent with tanker loadings.

What is in the tanker sales report?

The report, filtered by date range and plate, has dealer, fuel, plate, litres, unit price, amount and card sale type columns, plus total litres and total amount; the report can be printed.

Are village pumps in the same system?

Yes. The dealer's village pumps and tankers are kept in the same list with the dealer's licence number and EPDK code; the station pulls this list from headquarters.

How much does tanker automation cost?

The price depends on the number of tankers and whether the system is installed together with station automation.

What sets the price?

  • Number of tankers and the ETOS device to be linked to each tanker
  • Whether it is purchased together with station and tank automation
  • Whether it is managed from the distribution company's headquarters or by the dealer
  • Village pump definitions
