What is this page for?

The e-document (e-Belge) announcements of GİB, Turkey's Revenue Administration, are written in a short, technical style; working out whether an announcement concerns you often means opening the guide. Here we follow the announcements in date order and note next to each one who it affects and what needs to be done. The original announcements and guides are always on the GİB site; the links here go straight to the source.

Last updated: 4 September 2026.

Upcoming effective date

14.09.2026 — e-Fatura, e-Arşiv and UBL-TR package update takes effect

The updates published with the 27.07.2026 announcement take effect on this date (e-Fatura is Turkey's e-invoice, e-Arşiv its e-archive invoice, UBL-TR the Turkish UBL format). Those using direct integration must adapt their schema and code-list side by this date. Details and checklist: 14 September 2026 package update.

2026 announcements

24.08.2026 — Gaps in the e-Fatura package fixed

Gaps found in the e-Fatura package published on 27/07/2026 were corrected. What to do: if you are working with the package downloaded at the end of July, download the files again; the difference is silent and will not be noticed without comparing versions.

11.08.2026 — e-Arşiv package updated (earsiv.xsd)

Gaps in the earsiv.xsd file in the e-Arşiv package were fixed. What to do: in systems that produce e-Arşiv invoices, run schema validation again with the current file.

27.07.2026 — Three packages updated at once

The e-Fatura Package, the e-Arşiv Invoice Package and the UBL-TR (Code Lists) Guide were updated; effective 14.09.2026. What to do: code list changes are a reason for rejection — compare the codes you use with the current list.

13.07.2026 — GİB SSL/TLS certificates renewed

The *.gib.gov.tr and *.efatura.gov.tr certificates were renewed as of 14.07.2026 at 14:00. What to do: integrations that fix the certificate chain in their own truststore (pinning) fail to connect after renewals like this. If you see unexpected SSL errors in your web service calls, this is the first place to look.

29.06.2026 — e-Fatura Special Integration Guide updated

The guide concerning organisations that work with the special integration method was renewed. What to do: no direct action is needed for taxpayers working through a private integrator; the responsibility lies with the integrator.

22.05.2026 — e-Arşiv Application Guide updated

The guide on the application process was renewed. What to do: if you are going to make a new e-Arşiv application, follow the steps in the current guide.

Where to find the guides?

All guides and communiqués, the current packages and the tools published by GİB (e-Fatura Viewer, e-Fatura Monitoring and Analysis Tool, Signing Tool) are on the GİB e-Belge site: ebelge.gib.gov.tr. We do not copy the files from there — there must be a single source so it stays current; we only write what it means.

Who should follow these changes?

If you use direct integration, following them is your responsibility, and every announcement means potential development work. If you use a private integrator, following them is the integrator's job — but whether this is included in the subscription varies from contract to contract; clarify at the outset whether an extra fee is charged. We also cover this in our private integrator selection guide.

On ELPO's side

ELPO Bilişim is registered on GİB's official list of private integrators (how to verify it on the list). ELPO e-Belge manages five document types (e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, e-İrsaliye, e-SMM, e-MM) from a single panel.
