EPDK 1240 Compliance: Automate Dep1/Dep2/Dr Reporting
EPDK communiqué 1240 is a mandatory reporting duty for Turkish fuel distributors and stations. STX pulls data from PX/TX automation and sends it to EPDK daily.
EPDK Communiqué 1240: Who, What, When?
Under communiqué No. 1240 of EPDK (Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority), fuel distribution companies and stations are required to report tank levels, sales, fillings and stock movements to the authority electronically every day. The communiqué covers all liquefied petroleum product stations and distributors in Turkey; late or incorrect reporting leads to heavy fines.
Five Mandatory Tables: Dep1, Dep2, Dr, K, Dat
- Dep1 (Sales) — Details of every sale made from the pump (date, product, quantity, amount).
- Dep2 (Tank Filling) — Fillings made into the tanker (source, quantity, temperature, density).
- Dr (Stock Movement) — All physical movements in stock.
- K (Cashier Sales) — Cashier sales made via POS.
- Dat (Tanker Daily Report) — Daily tanker summary report.
These five tables must be transmitted to the web service every day, correctly, completely and in EPDK's format. Manual data entry takes a lot of work, the risk of error is high, and gaps uncovered in inspections turn into heavy fines.
Automatic Flow with STX
STX (Stock Tracking + EPDK 1240 Reporting System) automatically pulls data every day from the PX (pump automation) and TX (tank automation) modules. The data is converted to the EPDK format, validated and transmitted via the web service. Every transmission status (sent, failed, confirmed) can be monitored in real time on the panel.
Reconciliation and Deviation Control
The strongest side of STX is the daily reconciliation across the Dep1-Dep2-Dr trio. Every day the system compares sales, filling and stock movement data; if it detects a deviation, it notifies the station officer and the EPDK inspection point. This way, deviations caused by hardware failure, human error or theft are caught before an inspection.
Multi-Distributor / Multi-Station Management
A single-station operator and a distributor with hundreds of dealers can use the same panel. The central panel manages each dealer's EPDK licence information, submission status and historical reports from a single point. User-based authorisation separates the distributor, operator and auditor roles.
Who Is It For?
Single-station operators, multi-location distributors, fuel chains, companies running tanker operations and every fuel-sector player preparing for EPDK inspections. STX can be offered both to newly opened stations and to existing PX/TX users as part of their subscription.
